Sultan Idris Education University very own computing students have the opportunity for unique experiences during their time here as undergraduates. Along the way, they’ll be preparing for one of the most exciting and impactful careers available to those with a bachelor’s degree.

One thing that set apart computing students from any other students in Sultan Idris Education University is they are trained in both teaching and industrial fields. So, one who hold a degree in either Information Technology, Multimedia or Computer Aided Design is capable to become a teacher or other occupation in industrial fields especially in computing workforce. Beside that computing department also offered diploma courses in game design and computer science.

 

Computing students is also differ in term of the courses that they took. They are served with top notch facilities such as computer lab and many more. One thing that make studying computing is fun as students are learning new thing that can challenged themselves to a new level such as programming, database, networking and even mobile computing. It is easy to identified a computing students, just asked them what is C++, Java, C# etc and if they know about it, they are completely 100% computing students.

 

Computing department also have organized some of the most talk about events such as 'Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan' and Computing Students Final Year Project to talk a few. Students are interested to join this such events can contact the person incharge. For extra-curriculur activities, student can join any club and organisation that are available Such as 'Persatuan Teknologi Maklumat' for information technology's students, 'Persatuan Multimedia Kreatif' for Multimedia's students and 'Kejuteraan Perisian' For Software Engineering Students.
