HOW TO ADD CREDIT HOURS
Students can easily manage or add their desired credit hours by simply following
a few rules. It is very crucial for any students to manage their credit hours properly because it will help them to
graduate on time. So, this reason alone state that every students should take this matter seriously as it will affect their future. Students can only add maximum of 24 credit hours. However students can only
add maximum of 18 credit hours on the system alone (MySis system). Another 6 hours can be added manually by using the method that will be explained later. Minimum of credit hours that can be taken by a students is 12. Before adding an
additional credit hours, students are advised to consult with their Academic Supervisor.
What is CREDIT HOURS?
A “CREDIT HOUR” is the unit of measuring educational CREDIT, usually based on the number of classroom hours per week throughout a term. Students are awarded credit for classes on the basis of the Carnegie unit. This defines a semester unit of credit as equal to a minimum of three hours of work per week for a semester.
